Monetary donations
The donations are used exclusively for the sustainable development of the library, so for the following costs mainly:
- Purchase of books in Nepal
- Salary of the librarians
- Renovation of the building/electrics
- Furniture/equipment
- General infrastructure
- Transport of materials on site
- Office supplies
- Local support in Nepal
- Building of the sustainable income source
All team members work on a voluntary basis, so all donations are used 100% for the project itself.
Sapana is recognised as a non-profit association and donations can be deducted from taxes in all cantons of Switzerland. We can send you a donation receipt on request. From a donation of CHF 100.00 this happens automatically.
